There are many subjects to use to determine and categorizing stones and rocks. Using the usual availability of stones in our store, this website categorized all stones and rocks into:
1. Lingbi Stones. The most prized stones in China.
2. River Stones. Will include all the Smooth-Shiny-Surface stones, which the surface indicated that they were shaped and sculptured by water, currents, etc. You'll be seeing gorgeous stones from the famous Red River
in Guang Xi Province, China. Also included in this category, Yellow Wax Stone, Peeble Stone, and many more.
3. Mountain Rocks. Will include all the stones that were NOT shaped or sculptured by water. Instead, they were formed by natural sandblasting, sand and winds, or were found in the muddy area in the mountain. You'll be seeing Taihu Stone, Black Ink Rocks, Gobi Stones, and many more.
4. Viewing Stones. Will include all the stones that have colorful patterns. You'll be seeing all the stones from Shandong Province of China, some Dendritic limestone, and other.
5. Amethyst - Crystal. Will include all the mineral rocks. Included are all kind of Quartz, Fluorite, Staglamite and Stalactite, etc. For pure mineral specimen, you also can check out fossil and mineral website at www.chinesemf.com
6. Other Variety. Stones that are not in the river or mountain category, and you also will seeing some rare stones and rocks.
7. Small Stones. Will include all kind of stones and rocks that literally can be hold by one hand.

Lingbi is the most valued stones among Chinese collector. Found in Lingbi county of Anhui Province, usually from limestone material lying deep in red mud of Qingshi mountains. People also fond of Red Lingbi, and some of Lingbi stones that have a thin shapes gives unusual metal-like sound when you cling them.
Taihu Rocks are mostly found in Tai Lake area. Were formed by limestone, the best quality are usually the one that formed under the water for thousands and millions of years. Because they're showing beautiful soft color and multiple, linked perforation that were produced from years of wave and water erosion.
Red River Stones simply got the names because of its location, The Red River in Guang Xi Province of China. There are limitation for the source, and that makes Red River Stones more precious and become more expensive in the market. There are 3 grades of Red River Stones, ranked by the period of mining or digging. First period, the stones were darker and more shiny, which more prefered and valued and considered as the best quality among collector. But the later period also have
specialty in colors, making them also known as Ceramic Stones, because they're showing beautiful color and stuctures.
Ying Rocks are usually found in Yingde, Guangdong Province and in Guang Xi Province. Were formed by limestone and calcite. Resembles like a mountains and hills, people also likes to display them with Bonsai.
All of the tree root items are from China. The trees were usually already died or gone for lumber. After years of geological movement, the roots were came up to surface and people can spot them and dig them for many use.
Because of that, sometime it is hard to determine what type or name of tree some of the roots came from. But, basically, our roots items were came from: Camphor Tree, Fir Tree, Lychee Tree, Date Tree, and other.
